ABOUT BESTBALISTAYS.COM
About Best Bali Stays
Best Bali Stays is published at BestBaliStays.com, an independent Bali accommodation guide created to help visitors make clearer decisions about where and how to stay on the island.
Our goal is to make Bali accommodation easier to compare by looking at three things that shape almost every stay: accommodation type, location and travel style.
Instead of presenting one property, one hotel group or one booking platform as the answer for everyone, we help travellers understand the differences between hotels, resorts, villas, family villas, guesthouses, homestays, hostels, glamping, coliving and luxury stays across Bali.
Our Editorial Approach
We believe there is no single best place to stay in Bali — the best choice depends on the traveller.
Our accommodation guides combine independent research, local knowledge and practical travel experience. We compare the factors that can materially affect a stay, including location, access, accommodation style, facilities, neighbourhood character, transport needs and suitability for different types of travellers.
Whenever possible, we review and update our content as Bali changes. Accommodation categories evolve, neighbourhoods develop, transport patterns shift and booking options change over time.
Our editorial principles are based on:
BestBaliStays.com is not a hotel, resort, villa or accommodation property. Our role is to help visitors understand their options before they choose where to stay and which booking channel they prefer to use.
BOOKING TRANSPARENCY
Booking Platforms and Affiliate Links
BestBaliStays.com may provide links to third-party accommodation and booking platforms such as Trip.com, Booking.com, Agoda, Expedia or other providers.
Some of these links may be affiliate links. If a visitor completes a booking after following an affiliate link, BestBaliStays.com may receive a commission without increasing the price paid by the visitor.
Affiliate relationships do not determine which accommodation types, Bali areas or travel styles we cover. Our editorial structure is designed around what is useful to travellers, while booking platforms remain responsible for their own prices, availability, property details, payment processes, changes and cancellations.
BEST BALI 4 U NETWORK
Part of the Best Bali 4 U Knowledge Network
Best Bali Stays is part of the Best Bali 4 U Knowledge Network, published at BestBali4U.com.
Created by Christoph Santifaller and Ni Ayu Wulandari Santifaller, the network combines an international visitor perspective with local Balinese knowledge and practical experience of living and travelling in Bali.
Instead of placing every Bali topic on one large website, the Best Bali 4 U network uses specialised websites for individual subjects. BestBaliStays.com focuses on accommodation, while connected guides cover areas, activities, transport, attractions, family travel and other parts of planning a Bali trip.
This structure allows each website to go deeper into its subject while still connecting visitors to related information when it is useful.
How Best Bali Stays Fits the Network
BestBaliStays.com is the accommodation hub of the network. It brings together different stay types, Bali areas and traveller profiles so visitors can compare the broader accommodation landscape before following more specialised guides.
Examples include dedicated information websites for family villas, hotels, resorts, villas, guesthouses, homestays, hostels, glamping, coliving and luxury accommodation, as well as location guides for areas such as Sanur, Ubud, Canggu, Seminyak, Nusa Dua and other parts of Bali.
Not every specialised guide is published at the same time. Links are activated as individual websites become ready for visitors rather than sending users to unfinished pages.
Planning the Rest of Your Bali Trip
Accommodation is only one part of a Bali trip. For airport transfers, private drivers, activities, day tours and personalised local assistance, visitors can continue through the wider Best Bali network.
For personalised local help, Best Bali Adventures is published at BestBaliAdventures.com.
Our Vision
Our aim is to make choosing where to stay in Bali clearer, more transparent and more useful for different types of travellers.
Bali does not have one accommodation style, one neighbourhood or one booking method that suits everyone. A family with young children, a couple on honeymoon, a solo traveller, a surfer and a digital nomad may all need very different things from the same island.
By connecting specialised accommodation guides with area guides and practical travel information, we want BestBaliStays.com to become a useful starting point for travellers deciding where to stay and how to compare their options.
Help Us Improve
Bali’s accommodation landscape changes constantly, and maintaining accurate information is an ongoing process.
If you notice outdated information, discover an error, find a broken link or have reliable local knowledge that could improve one of our accommodation or area guides, we would be pleased to hear from you.
For editorial questions, corrections or suggestions, please use the Best Bali Stays contact page.
Thank you for visiting Best Bali Stays, published at BestBaliStays.com. We hope the site helps you compare Bali accommodation more clearly and choose the stay, area and booking option that best fit your trip.
